DUBLIN, IRELAND – Kerubim Press, independent publisher of occult books, is proud to announce our latest project, The Complete Golden Dawn Tarot Deck, the most complete and accurate version of the Order’s Tarot designs to date.

If you think you’ve already seen these designs, think again! Not only have many of the original drawings of the Major Arcana not been rendered accurately in published books or decks, but many of the higher Path cards have not been drawn to match the designs given by Mathers. Indeed, other decks have typically gone in vastly differently directions to the way the Golden Dawn deck was supposed to go.

Spearheading this project is Frater Yechidah, who has been working quietly on these designs for a number of years. With his signature serious and detailed research (as proven by his previous projects in this area) and an aptitude for spotting the trails left behind by Mathers and company, Yechidah looks to restore the original Tarot deck designs and recreate the missing cards via a combination of rare surviving descriptions, unpublished material, analysis of the inspirations Mathers employed (such as the works of Lévi and Wirth), careful combing of additional clues in the material, and numerous invocations to the forces behind the G.D., including the Great Angel HRU, set over the operation of the Secret Wisdom.

Whether it is the Drowned Giant symbolism of The Hanged Man or the Wheel of Fortune based around the parts of the Lotus Wand, the aim is to ensure the most complete, accurate, and authentic deck is recreated, offering the most consistent and interconnected Tarot teachings that work inherently with the rest of the Golden Dawn system, as the founders of the Order planned.

This will not only result in the most authoritative Golden Dawn Tarot deck to date, but a vital tool for more accurate Tarot divination, more effective magical workings, and more complete symbolism for insight and spiritual advancement.

In addition to the Tarot deck (offered in both black & white, which can be hand coloured, and colour versions, the latter based on a thorough analysis and application of surviving Order teachings on colour), Frater Yechidah will gradually unveil the recreated and restored designs month-by-month, with supporting evidence and arguments for the choices made (including alternate versions, where, for example, the Strength card may feature a Lion, a Dragon, or a Scorpion). These exclusive reports, featuring previously unpublished material, will be available only to supporters of this project, and will eventually form the backbone of a Making Of book, also available to order here.

The Tarot deck will include both the Major and Minor Arcana, totalling 78 cards. The Major Arcana will also be available in two larger print formats for meditation and use in Temple ceremonies or rituals, or as wall art. See the options below for more details.

Finally, the first 50 signed and numbered copies of The Complete Tarot Teachings of the Golden Dawn, compiled and edited by Frater Yechidah, will be available on the highest supporter tier. This Limited Hardback Edition, like previous volumes in the series, will publish the complete and accurate Tarot papers of the Order for the first time, restoring many lost pieces and removing numerous errors that have crept into the truncated previously published versions. This is an early first chance to grab this title and guarantee your exclusive copy when it releases later.

Kerubim Press will offer The Complete Golden Dawn Tarot Deck for a limited time. While we may potentially do another print run in the future, our current plan is to make only 250 copies available now, and only accept orders for the next 30 days. We have no plans to sell this later at retail, so this is your only opportunity to ensure you get a copy.

Note that this is a pre-order and crowdfunding campaign designed to ensure the necessary financial support for such a big, long-term project. The expected release date of the Tarot deck (and much of the additional options) is September 2027. While this may seem a long time away, neither Frater Yechidah or us are interested in rushing a project of this magnitude. Instead, the exclusive monthly updates will showcase the development of the deck over time, and allow you direct input in the creation process. Funding will also go towards hiring an artist to tidy up the designs towards the end of the project.
